Know Who You're Talking To
A qualified prospect is a business owner or decision-maker who has a need for your product or service, the ability to make a purchasing decision, and the financial capacity to move forward. Identifying qualified prospects before you invest time in a presentation is one of the most important skills in sales.
Watch the training video below to learn exactly what makes a prospect qualified and how to quickly identify the right people to target with your calls and appointments.
The 4 Criteria of a Qualified Prospect
Decision Maker
The person you're speaking with has the authority to say yes — not just a gatekeeper or employee.
Has a Need
The business has a clear need for merchant services, business financing, or the Leads Plus opportunity.
Financially Capable
The business is operational and generating revenue — they have the means to move forward.
Open to a Conversation
The prospect is willing to hear more and schedule a presentation or follow-up call.
